- Applied artificial intelligence
- Applied AI is the practice of turning machine learning research into systems that make real operating decisions. At Avanti AI Labs it means models that forecast restaurant demand, sequence construction work and price residential units — measured on business outcomes such as cost, waste and delivery time rather than on benchmark scores.
- Computer vision
- Computer vision lets software interpret images and video the way a trained inspector would. We use it for automated quality inspection on the PPVC production line, site progress tracking from camera and drone footage, shelf and stock recognition in Sir Fluffy smart retail units, and safety monitoring across manufacturing and construction environments.
- Generative AI
- Generative AI creates new content — text, imagery, code, layouts — from a description of what is needed. Inside the group it drafts guest communications, produces design and specification variants for modular units, summarises long technical documents, and powers the assistants that answer customer questions in natural language.
- Predictive analytics
- Predictive analytics uses historical and live data to estimate what will happen next. Avanti applies it to demand and occupancy forecasting, procurement and inventory planning, cash-flow and project-cost projection, and equipment failure prediction — so decisions are made before a problem becomes visible on a P&L.
- Digital twins
- A digital twin is a live virtual replica of a physical asset — a building, a factory line, a hotel — kept in sync with sensor and production data. We build twins to simulate construction sequencing before steel is cut, to test energy and operating scenarios, and to monitor performance of delivered assets throughout their life.
