Who we are
We build businesses that shape the future.
Instead of simply investing in industries, we create ecosystems. Every company strengthens another.
Vision
To be the most integrated builder of businesses in the region — where real estate, technology, manufacturing, hospitality and food systems operate as one.
Our developments create demand for our food businesses. Our AI enhances our hospitality. Our manufacturing supports our construction. Our research reaches our sites before it reaches a journal.
That integration is the reason Avanti can commit to timelines, standards and pricing that a purely financial owner cannot. We are an operator first and an investor second.
Our mission is simple: build assets, brands and technologies that are still creating value in thirty years.

1952 — Foundations in Fujairah · East-coast road alignment, Fujairah, United Arab Emirates
On the rock shoulder between the Hajar mountains and the Gulf of Oman, the founder and two young engineers set out the alignment of a new coastal road through Fujairah. Levels are read off a brass theodolite, sections are drawn by hand on linen paper, and the chainage is pegged before the day's heat — the method the group still applies to every site it opens.

1952 — Foundations in Fujairah
The family's engineering legacy begins in Fujairah with survey and master planning work on the east-coast road and early national infrastructure — the discipline that still defines how the group builds today.
- CAA
1957 — Cross Atlantic Airways · Beirut International Airport, Lebanon
Cross Atlantic Airways takes its place on the apron in the airport's third year of operation, holding five IATA flying rights. Two Douglas DC-3s — twin Pratt & Whitney radials, twenty-eight seats, tailwheel down — worked the Nicosia–Athens–Rome legs and the Gulf run to Kuwait and Dhahran. Captain and first officer, a radio operator and a single stewardess flew each rotation; the aircraft were fuelled, loaded and turned around by hand in under an hour.

2001 — Avanti General Trading · Port Rashid and the Deira trading quarter, Dubai, UAE
A trading and logistics house opens between the Deira souk offices and the quays of Port Rashid. Building materials and fit-out goods from the eastern Mediterranean and northern Italy clear customs here and move by flatbed into a city then pouring the foundations of Dubai Marina — the group's first UAE cash-flow engine.

2004 — Property Development · Dubai, UAE
The group's first premium residential tower reaches its upper floors on a Dubai plot bought before the freehold boom. Slab cycles are held to six days, marble and joinery are specified from Italy and the Gulf, and the handover standard written on this job still governs every asset the ecosystem delivers.

2006 — Avanti Holding · Group headquarters, Dubai, UAE

2007 — Construction · Dubai, UAE

2008 — Resilience · Dubai, UAE, with the regional offices on the line
Dubai's property market falls by half and the group answers with arithmetic rather than optimism: debt repaid ahead of schedule, land banked instead of flipped, no completed unit sold below cost. Every office runs one weekly cash meeting through the downturn — the discipline that carried every division that followed.

2013 — European Expansion · Mayfair and the City, London, United Kingdom

Questions about our history
The dates, places and aircraft behind the timeline — from Fujairah in 1952 to the AI platforms planned for 2027.
- When was Avanti Holding founded?
- The group traces its origin to 1952 in Fujairah, United Arab Emirates, where the first surveys and master plans were drawn. Avanti Holding itself was consolidated as a holding structure in 2006, bringing the trading, property and broadcast businesses under one balance sheet.
- What was Cross Atlantic Airways?
- In 1957 the group launched Cross Atlantic Airways with IATA five freedoms flying rights and two propeller aircraft — Douglas DC-3 Dakotas operating out of Beirut, Lebanon. It was the group's first regulated, cross-border operating business.
- How did the group expand across the Gulf and into Europe?
- Trading and shipping consignments through Port Rashid opened the Gulf from 2001, property development followed in 2004, and a European platform was established in 2013. Group headquarters moved to Dubai, with London covering investment and research.
- When did Avanti Holding start working in AI and robotics?
- Robotics and automation entered the group in 2015 on manufacturing lines, Avanti AI Labs was founded in 2021, and enterprise AI was deployed across the divisions from 2025 — feeding Sir Fluffy, our AI retail platform, from 2026.
- How many milestones are documented in the timeline?
- The cinematic timeline documents eighteen milestones between 1952 and 2027, each with a dated photograph, the location it was taken, the people or subject pictured and an image credit. Milestones can be filtered by region, decade or keyword.
- Are the timeline photographs authentic archive images?
- Each milestone carries its own source and credit line stating whether the photograph is an archive image, a commissioned photograph or a reconstruction, so the provenance of every frame is visible on the page.
